"Greetings citizens. In December of 2008 the staff of SmallWorlds crowded around a computer screen. We had a smaller team then, so crowding around one screen was a lot easier. The moment had finally arrived, the day when we would peel the beta label off SmallWorlds!

Speeches were made, glasses were charged, the button was pushed...and SmallWorlds was born! We've had quite an adventure during that time. Our staff has grown, our community has blossomed, and we've released a lot of new items and features."
